Hey! I’m Daljit — the founder of Femformal. Honestly, I’m just a girl like most of you, still figuring out life day by day. But if there’s one thing I’ve always been sure of, it’s how much I love dressing up , again like every other girl.

Little Back Story

Growing up, my mom used to stitch all my outfits. I didn’t realize back then how lucky I was to wear custom-made outfits every day — it felt normal to hand over a sketch and see it transformed into something beautiful, stitched with love. She’s an amazing tailor, and I didn’t realize how special that was until later....

Then what Happened?

It all changed, When I arrived in Canada in 2018 as an international student, finding clothing that truly fit my body, budget, and identity felt nearly impossible. The choices felt unfair: either high-quality and overpriced, or affordable and lacking the grace I longed for. So, I began creating what I couldn’t find — pieces that felt like me.

Femformal was born from my personal journey. I’ve always believed that when you walk into a room, your presence speaks before you do — and what you wear can either dim or elevate that voice. Fem Formal is more than a clothing line. It’s a reflection of ambition wrapped in elegance — where every design is tailored to celebrate the journey of becoming.
